THE Strange and hilarious world of Omegle

Recently whilst sitting on my computer chair bored out of my skull flying through cyber space i came across a strange instant messaging site called Omegle.  When first arriving on the site www.omegle.com you are instantly greeted by some words in a welcoming font simply saying 'Omegle, talk to strangers', those unfamiliar with this website especially parents are probably thinking that this is a dangerous terrible website, and in some sense your right. I mean the amount of random abuse you receive is ridiculous. you press a big button in the centre of the screen saying 'start a chat' and you are almost instantly in a conversation with a complete stranger.

Most conversations last about 30 seconds in my experience, usually some one logs in and says 'M/F', (which means male or female) then when i type the letter M the casanova somewhere else in the world who is looking for women leaves instantly. But occasionally you will start talking to someone and get some form of cultural education, the vast majority of strangers who i have chatted to are not from England so it's a bit of a change from talking to my mostly english friends on MSN or Facebook chat.

The beauty of this site is if your getting freaked out by a stranger who is saying weird things to you all you do is hit the 'disconnect' button at the bottom left hand of the screen and you have left the conversation and as long as your not stupid enough too tell them personal details or email address's the likelihood is you will never talk to them again in your entire life.

i seriously advise you taking a look at it if you want a laugh or maybe just to talk to someone from another country.

Omegle. making strangers entertaining and less dangerous
